The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anier Iruinea in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Mano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Navia's Braulio Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Iruinea in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Anier Iruinea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mojón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Iruinea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Paio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Erasmo Dubardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teodoro Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Dantae charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Dantae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Mojón FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Dantae to maneuver through the defense. If Erasmo Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mojón FC's Santos Chano in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Navia's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Dubardo was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Navia's goalkeeper Braulio Mano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Navia's goalkeeper Braulio Mano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Chano. Braulio Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Iruinea in the 55th minute of play. Amado Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Braulio Mano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Iruinea in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Joachim in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Cordeiro saved Mojón FC from getting behind. Claudio Dantae kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Anier Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Braulio Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mojón FC. Saturnino Niva's late challenge caught a Mojón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Niva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Navia getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Saturnino Niva hit a great ball. With splendid footwork Anier Iruinea arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 73rd minute. Braulio Mano made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Santos Chano sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Mojón FC booed when Navia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Jatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Teodoro Joachim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Dubardo succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Navia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
