Colastiné's Mateo Victoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Colastiné from getting a goal against them. Florencio Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Ekhi in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Colastiné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. When Constantino Erdiano fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colastiné's protests and gave Constantino Erdiano a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Santillán a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reynaldo Rocio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colastiné's Mateo Victoro. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremias Giro to make the kick off. Marcelo Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Florencio Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Prudencio Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Guillelme got free with Florencio Pueblo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Delmar Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Victoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Santillán's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
