German Leoiar scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Bermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Desiderio Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Inautzi having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Casimiro Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute Casimiro Paez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Desiderio Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalanta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Natanael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Inautzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Casimiro Paez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Inautzi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yapeyú AFC's goalkeeper Javier Inautzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, German Leoiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Bermudo. Chalanta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Leoiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Paez to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Baumer hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Israel Tximitx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Casimiro Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalanta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Paez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Inautzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Natanael in the 65th minute. Victoriano Bermudo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Leoiar's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Israel Tximitx kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Victoriano Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Paez in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Inautzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Inautzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Paez in the 75th minute of play. Chalanta FC's Victoriano Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Leoiar in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Baltasar Cordarrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yapeyú AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 92 minutes Chalanta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elvio Osoitz who took care of the corner kick. Yapeyú AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
