Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeremias Giro kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Baltasar Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Mannie kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Yapeyú AFC's Elvio Osoitz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 10 played minutes Santillán got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Oxarra. Arnulfo Ilazki's late challenge caught a Santillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Ilazki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Arnulfo Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yapeyú AFC's Javier Inautzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Giro in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes, Santillán's Oscar Fertus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Javier Inautzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santillán reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Karmel during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Yapeyú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Karmel to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Rocio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Inautzi. Yapeyú AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Yapeyú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Karmel to maneuver through the defense. When German Leoiar fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yapeyú AFC's protests and gave German Leoiar a yellow card for diving instead. Javier Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Giro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Fertus kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Baltasar Cordarrel made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Yapeyú AFC booed when Santillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Leoiar in the 53rd minute of play forced Santillán's goalkeeper Florencio Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Santillán's Vinicio Oxarra got a free kick in the 54th minute. Florencio Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Vinicio Oxarra hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jeremias Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Inautzi having to interfere. Enzo Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Delmar Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Javier Inautzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Giro might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Inautzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Giro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Santillán's zone, Armando Karmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Pueblo came out of the goal and Armando Karmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Inautzi made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Delmar Abel sent off a good shot on target. Jeremias Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Yapeyú AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Santillán for much of the match.
