In the 4th minute, Teodoro Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Delmar Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Santillán booed when Navia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Mano was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Jeremias Giro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jeremias Giro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 25th minute, Teodoro Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Navia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Jatsu to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Navia's Braulio Mano got control of the ball when Lucas Mannie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Teodoro Joachim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Giro made a kick off. Adrian Thomas thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Braulio Mano, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-1. If Jeremias Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Jatsu's late challenge caught a Santillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Jatsu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Navia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Abel Jatsu hit a great ball. Delmar Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Santillán's Delmar Abel in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Navia's goalie prevented a goal. Abel Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Navia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Thomas to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Navia booed when Santillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Pueblo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Teodoro Joachim sent off a good shot on target. Florencio Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Dubardo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Delmar Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 81st minute of the match Martin Bartoli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Martin Bartoli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Navia's Martin Bartoli got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jeremias Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Jeremias Giro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Santillán got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Rocio. Teodoro Joachim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florencio Pueblo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When Abel Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Navia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Jatsu couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Navia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santillán.
