Baldomiro Godoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 35th minute, Marco Nafarroa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Godoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Nafarroa in the 54th minute. Americo Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Ospin in the 55th minute of the match. Severo Tabb's late challenge caught a Porvenir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Tabb helped the player get up and apologised. Baldomiro Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Raymond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lázaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Nafarroa scored 1-5 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Godoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute Lázaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Americo Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. REAL CORDOBA FC's Marco Nafarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. REAL CORDOBA FC's Americo Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Eriz in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Ruperto Chuse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Americo Maureo skillfully saved the ball. Lázaro Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Godoy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Porvenir's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Cesar Precioso scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Godoy, making the score, 1-6. With a little luck, Porvenir's Baldomiro Godoy got control of the ball when Cesar Precioso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moises Stanislao hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
