Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) GoNzA FC's Anier Precioso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Nihuil's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Precioso came free, but Aurelio Incendio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gervasio Santana fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nihuil's protests and gave Gervasio Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Nihuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Anier Precioso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Incendio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GoNzA FC's Adolfo Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cristofol in the 8th minute of play. With an all-out effort, GoNzA FC's Aurelio Incendio threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anier Precioso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ciro Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Incendio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GoNzA FC booed when Nihuil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Rexino having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, GoNzA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Inge to maneuver through the defense. If Maximino Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Rexino having to interfere. If Felix Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Tab's late challenge caught a Nihuil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Tab helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nihuil booed when GoNzA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Tab was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, GoNzA FC's Domingos Tab got a free kick in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Cristofol to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute Maximino Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nihuil! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for GoNzA FC. Eustacio Montay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Incendio. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Theobald got free with Adolfo Rexino in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Cristofol in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of GoNzA FC booed when Nihuil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Illan in the 84th minute of the match. GoNzA FC's Froilan Oso got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Incendio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, GoNzA FC's Clemente Inge got a free kick in the 95th minute. Felix Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 101st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nihuil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GoNzA FC.
