Foolbolito FC's Jose Tirso got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Foolbolito FC's Gaston Lucian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Foolbolito FC from getting a goal against them. Benicio Fraco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Marciano Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

La Lavandería de Bernal's Carolo Pasqual got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaston Lucian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Pere in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Nicolas Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Lavandería de Bernal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Pere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nicolas Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Lucian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, La Lavandería de Bernal's goalkeeper Marciano Austin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Fraco. In the 76th match minute, La Lavandería de Bernal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Ordono to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Eyague during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Lavandería de Bernal! Marciano Austin went to the wrong direction when Emilio Palban was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Pere in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Lucian saved Foolbolito FC from getting behind. Nicolas Pere succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Jose Tirso struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marciano Austin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Foolbolito FC.
