Eriberto Enetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Ospin's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute Geronimo Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Ruben Eder notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Porvenir's Baldomiro Godoy. Baldomiro Godoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hilario Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Italó FC's Baldomiro Godoy threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Primitivo Ekain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Ekain in the 24th minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Baldomiro Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Chus to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Godoy made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ruben Eder sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Italó FC defense, Geronimo Udalaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Enetz. The Italó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Enetz should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Geronimo Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Udalaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Italó FC booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute Anibal Jakobe managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Baldomiro Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Eder in the 53rd minute of play. Baldomiro Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Eder in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Ruben Eder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Federico Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Eder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute of the match Claudio Guillem shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Enetz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Italó FC's Ruben Eder got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Primitivo Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Geronimo Udalaitz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hilario Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Enetz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Italó FC's Osvaldo Ostadar got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ruperto Chuse charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Chuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Chuse to maneuver through the defense. Geronimo Udalaitz's late challenge caught a Italó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Udalaitz helped the player get up and apologised. Geronimo Udalaitz hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ruben Eder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Baldomiro Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Enetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilario Ospin's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. If Hilario Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porvenir's Baldomiro Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Ekain in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
