After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ciro Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geronimo Udalaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Adolfo Rexino made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Clemente Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Hilario Ospin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 34 minutes, Clemente Inge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoNzA FC and the Porvenir players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GoNzA FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Clemente Inge hit a great ball. The supporters of Porvenir booed when GoNzA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Porvenir's Hilario Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 52nd minute Hilario Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Ospin hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Adolfo Rexino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Udalaitz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Ciro Illan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Porvenir's Baldomiro Godoy. Baldomiro Godoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Porvenir's Baldomiro Godoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Porvenir from getting a goal against them. Ciro Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Godoy having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
