In the 9th minute of the match Horacio Elizardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Godoy skillfully saved the ball. Teofilo Millrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Ospin in the 20th minute of play. Geronimo Udalaitz struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Teofilo Millrick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porvenir. Baldomiro Godoy came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarah AFC's Gabriel Loren. But to his dismay, Gabriel Loren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 34 minutes into the game, Sarah AFC's Gabriel Loren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Godoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Peruanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Godoy was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Sarah AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Hilario Ospin scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Millrick, making the score, 1-3. After the first half Sarah AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hilario Ospin to strike the kick off in the second half. Porvenir's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Hipolito Peruanton scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Godoy, making the score, 1-4. The supporters of Sarah AFC booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Chus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Severino Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvenir's protests and gave Severino Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sarah AFC booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Hipolito Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarah AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Peruanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baldomiro Godoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Loren in the 77th minute. After 83 played minutes Sarah AFC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Elizardo. The audience was convinced that Hilario Ospin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Millrick was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute Hilario Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Millrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Gabriel Loren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baldomiro Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Peruanton in the 89th minute of play. When Hipolito Peruanton fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarah AFC's protests and gave Hipolito Peruanton a yellow card for diving instead. Hipolito Peruanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Baldomiro Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Porvenir supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sarah AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sarah AFC.
