Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anier Precioso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eriberto Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Precioso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Italó FC's zone, Ciro Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Enetz came out of the goal and Ciro Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Primitivo Ekain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adolfo Rexino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Domingos Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Precioso in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Enetz saved Italó FC from getting behind. Italó FC's Primitivo Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Rexino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Ekain in the 38th minute of play. The nice shot from Ciro Illan in the 40thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Eriberto Enetz had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Anier Precioso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eriberto Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Primitivo Ekain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Italó FC booed when GoNzA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Llorian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italó FC's Anibal Jakobe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adolfo Rexino but with some difficulty. A collision led to GoNzA FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Domingos Tab hit a great ball. Ruben Eder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adolfo Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anier Precioso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Eder might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Rexino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Eder ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to GoNzA FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Italó FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Eder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Clemente Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
