Jesus Ekain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Guillelmo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Gabrio got free with Fidel Guillelmo in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The MCR FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Maruchas's performance. The match ended with a win for Maruchas.
