After a defensive mix-up in Palavecino's zone, Siro Ubendu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Clis came out of the goal and Siro Ubendu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Harkaitz during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Siro Ubendu made the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Victoriano Clis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Ubendu in the 53rd minute of the match. Felix Eduino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Clis having to make a save. MCR FC's Jonathan Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Cristo Peio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
