In the 13th minute, Santos Faro made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Clis. Palavecino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 18 played minutes Palavecino got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Sabin. Amador Cristofol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victoriano Clis. Palavecino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Palavecino getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cristo Peio hit a great ball. Victoriano Clis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Alberto Nardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Clis. Palavecino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Nardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Narciso Ponce was a little too slow when Cristo Peio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 44th minute Santos Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Alberto Nardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UK Palace Albion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Nardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Victoriano Clis made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Santos Faro sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Nardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cristo Peio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Ponce was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. With a little luck, Palavecino's Victoriano Clis got control of the ball when Santos Faro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palavecino's zone, Santos Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Clis came out of the goal and Santos Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Matia in the 60th minute of play forced UK Palace Albion's goalkeeper Narciso Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by UK Palace Albion's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustino Sabin was slow to take the kick. During this time Palavecino's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Palavecino's corner Faustino Sabin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Narciso Ponce quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Matia in the 80th minute of play forced UK Palace Albion's goalkeeper Narciso Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Victoriano Clis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Matia in the 92nd minute of the match. Narciso Ponce came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Palavecino's Gilberto Matia. But to his dismay, Gilberto Matia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Palavecino succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though UK Palace Albion had controlled the match.
