Ruperto Frances might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabricio Cheche. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruperto Frances ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, FumaratoFC's Fabricio Cheche got control of the ball when Ruperto Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnoldo Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Cheche having to interfere. After 19 played minutes FumaratoFC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Lorenz. With a little luck, FumaratoFC's Fabricio Cheche got control of the ball when Ruperto Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. Narciso Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Hazzard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Loiola to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Martinez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Hegoi in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Azevedo saved Hazzard from getting behind. When Ruperto Frances came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Hazzard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Frances couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, FumaratoFC's goalkeeper Fabricio Cheche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Frances. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ruperto Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Hazzard defense, Venancio Martinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Azevedo. The Hazzard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Daniel Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Hegoi in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Martinez got free with Daniel Azevedo in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FumaratoFC's Fabricio Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Frances in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FumaratoFC's zone, Ruperto Frances stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Cheche came out of the goal and Ruperto Frances tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Martino struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Fabricio Cheche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hazzard. After a defensive mix-up in FumaratoFC's zone, Ruperto Frances stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Cheche came out of the goal and Ruperto Frances tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Ignacio Loiola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hazzard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FumaratoFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hazzard's zone, Laureano Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Azevedo came out of the goal and Laureano Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Hegoi in the 89th minute of play. Venancio Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Daniel Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
