Ruperto Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Frances in the 16th minute of play forced FumaratoFC's goalkeeper Fabricio Cheche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Hegoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Hegoi was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ruperto Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fabricio Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ruperto Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hazzard's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Frances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabricio Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FumaratoFC's zone, Arnoldo Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Cheche came out of the goal and Arnoldo Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FumaratoFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bonifacio Lorenz hit a great ball. Ruperto Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Cheche having to interfere. Daniel Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Martinez in the 88th minute of play. When Narciso Hegoi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FumaratoFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Hegoi couldn't finish the play. In the 97th minute, Ruperto Frances fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabricio Cheche, passed just outside the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hazzard walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
