In the 12th minute Venancio Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Tano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Pepillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FumaratoFC's Bonifacio Lorenz got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Gaspar Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FumaratoFC's Venancio Martinez got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Santa Eufemia's Maximiliano Florinio got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Narciso Hegoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Tano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Narciso Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FumaratoFC booed when Deportivo Santa Eufemia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Florinio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Bernebe hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. FumaratoFC's Laureano Pere couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo Santa Eufemia. Gaston Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FumaratoFC's Fabricio Cheche got control of the ball when Gaspar Heli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Pepillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Narciso Hegoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardino Tano, 0-3. Venancio Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Bernardino Tano made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Isaac Nataniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Laureano Pere sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Santa Eufemia's Bernardino Tano didn't even have to move. 67 minutes into the match, Deportivo Santa Eufemia's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Hegoi came free, but Bernardino Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FumaratoFC's Fabricio Cheche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Pepillo in the 76th minute of play. Maximiliano Florinio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Santa Eufemia's goalkeeper Bernardino Tano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venancio Martinez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Bernardino Tano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bernardino Tano was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Narciso Hegoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narciso Hegoi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Deportivo Santa Eufemia's Bernardino Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Hegoi in the 95th minute of play. The FumaratoFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FumaratoFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
