The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andres Saturnin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Aureo having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Bulo FC's goalkeeper Francisco Aureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Saturnin. In the 15th minute Prudencio Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Celipe struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Adrian Dzherov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulo FC. Andres Saturnin might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Aureo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Saturnin ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Hori hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Francisco Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Policarpio in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Royal Never Give Up defense, Zacarias Dorio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Dzherov. The Royal Never Give Up fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Dzherov should have stopped the shot. Miguel Marko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Aureo having to make a save. In the 33rd match minute, Bulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Fertus to maneuver through the defense. Royal Never Give Up's Osvaldo Oalo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Francisco Aureo but with some difficulty. Mario Celipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Policarpio in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Celipe was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Saturnin in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Aureo saved Bulo FC from getting behind. In the 55thth minute of the game Mario Celipe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Never Give Up's Adrian Dzherov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Saturnin in the 64th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Andres Saturnin sped through Bulo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Aureo. Andres Saturnin kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Royal Never Give Up were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Bulo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldo Oalo took the corner. The corner led Royal Never Give Up's Andres Saturnin to a score. 3-1 in the 78th minute. Miguel Marko hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Francisco Aureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Saturnin in the 83rd minute of play. Felipe Cidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Saturnin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Mario Celipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Dzherov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bulo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Royal Never Give Up.
