In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Monigotes AFC's goalkeeper Maximino Weather, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Oliveiro's late challenge caught a Club Milano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Oliveiro helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Weather showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Igor Veremundo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Maximino Weather when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucas Oliveiro hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Milano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Urbano Ebardo hit a great ball. Teodoro Hernando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Milano's Isidoro Aguirre got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Baristo in the 21st minute of play forced Club Milano's goalkeeper Rafael Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Baristo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rafael Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Lucas Oliveiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Cortez. Club Milano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Oliveiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Juan Hernando fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Milano's protests and gave Juan Hernando a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Club Milano got a freekick which was hit by Juan Hernando. Teodoro Hernando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Nereo Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Monigotes AFC's Esteban Baristo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Cortez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Monigotes AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Fernanco made the kick off in the second half. If Rodolfo Fernanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Esteban Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monigotes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Hernando in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Milano's goalkeeper Rafael Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nereo Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Weather took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Fernanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
