Radomil Orlicki struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Norberto Arnalt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancul. Baltasar Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th match minute, C.A .Boca juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Koldo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.A .Boca juniors getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ricardo Koldo hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Rancul got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Romo. Marcial Gipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Gipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Norberto Arnalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Telo in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With a little luck, Rancul's Isidro Urre got control of the ball when Mariano Sergi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Sergi came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isidro Urre could save by the left post. Ricardo Koldo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Marco Errando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Arnalt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Norberto Arnalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Marino in the 76th minute of the match. When Blas Guilabertus came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Rancul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Guilabertus couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Telo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Norberto Arnalt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Felix Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rancul were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing C.A .Boca juniors to leave the ground with a draw.
