In the 11th minute, UNION ROSARIO's Constantino Boni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Ipar. Ariel Ipar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ricardo Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jose Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot. River United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Azeari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UNION ROSARIO's goalkeeper Silvio Resto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes UNION ROSARIO got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Refugio. Jose Azeari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Resto having to make a save. Constantino Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Hernando's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Ariel Ipar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Silvio Resto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Quirce in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind River United FC's goalkeeper Ariel Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Quirce in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantino Boni was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to River United FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eusebio Quinito hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, UNION ROSARIO's Joaquin Cedro tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ariel Ipar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind River United FC's goalkeeper Ariel Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeronimo Quirce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Resto having to make a save. Jeronimo Quirce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Silvio Resto made a huge save. Constantino Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ipar having to interfere. Atilano Eguerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Damian Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Azeari couldn't finish the play.
