After 34 played minutes Club Atlético Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Leoiar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Hori stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by River United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aristides Cedro was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Moreno's players had a chance to rest. Jeronimo Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Cordarius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Azeari in the 62nd minute of play. Club Atlético Moreno's Isaac Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Jose Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Quirce came free, but Israel Cordarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Cordarius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Quirce's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jose Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot. River United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Azeari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Azeari in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atlético Moreno's goalkeeper Israel Cordarius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Moreno defense, Jose Azeari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Cordarius. The Club Atlético Moreno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Cordarius should have stopped the shot. River United FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
