Spectators: 7055 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Donato Munio took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fontana's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Sergi came free, but Orlando Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Francis having to interfere. Oscar Cordeiro's late challenge caught a C.A .Boca juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. The C.A .Boca juniors fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when C.A .Boca juniors's Mariano Sergi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes of play, Fontana's Arsenio Brun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Arnalt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, C.A .Boca juniors's Guido Loiola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Francis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Munio in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norberto Arnalt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Norberto Arnalt managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Fontana's Arsenio Brun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Odon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Mariano Sergi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando Francis. Fontana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Sergi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ermegildo Santio's late challenge caught a Fontana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Santio helped the player get up and apologised. Oscar Cordeiro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Fontana's Donato Munio in the 47th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Norberto Arnalt was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for C.A .Boca juniors through an amazing save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A .Boca juniors's goalkeeper Norberto Arnalt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Arsenio Brun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Arnalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Munio in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of C.A .Boca juniors booed when Fontana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Fontana got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Goizeder. Guido Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Francis having to interfere. Mariano Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Guido Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Geleberto hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. C.A .Boca juniors's Norberto Arnalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Munio in the 94th minute of play.
