Club Atlético Moreno's Israel Cordarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Fero in the 6th minute of play. Gregorio Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Ramone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Malvinas FC's Alfredo Caradaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Cordarius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 14th minute, Mauricio Kimetz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Cordarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Samuel Ramone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Marino in the 18th minute of play. If Geronimo Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfredo Caradaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Israel Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Fero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Mauricio Kimetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Moreno's Israel Cordarius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Geronimo Fero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Fero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Cordarius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute Gregorio Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Ramone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Kimetz came free, but Israel Cordarius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malvinas FC's Geronimo Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Club Atlético Moreno's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Geronimo Fero scored to the left of an out of position Israel Cordarius, making the score, 0-3. Israel Cordarius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Fero in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Malvinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Hori came free, but Samuel Ramone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benigno Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Alfredo Caradaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malvinas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Moreno the free kick. Gregorio Marino scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Ramone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Caradaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Cordarius having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Kimetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Israel Cordarius was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Geronimo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Israel Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malvinas FC's Mauricio Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geronimo Fero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Cordarius having to interfere.
