Nicasio Miro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. After having played for 26 minutes, Nicasio Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Miro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Montrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nicasio Miro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Nueva Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Miro couldn't finish the play. When Eustaquio Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Condor fans jumped to their feet. Candido Jatsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Bernat's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Daniel Montrel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jesus Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The coaching staff of Condor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Remigio Ibañez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Nueva Chicago. Dionisio Oliverios stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Montrel. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Jesus Urtsua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Montrel was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Nueva Chicago were victorious despite being under pressure from Condor for much of the match.
