The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Fero got free with Silvio Resto in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Silvio Resto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Malvinas FC booed when UNION ROSARIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game Mauricio Kimetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UNION ROSARIO's Silvio Resto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malvinas FC had played much better football throughout.
