The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Carro Quemao's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Dabi came free, but Eustaquio Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Abastas in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Abastas in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo Carro Quemao's goalkeeper Eustaquio Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Bela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Enzo Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombucta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Dabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enzo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eustaquio Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Bela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Deportivo Carro Quemao's Eustaquio Bela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Dabi in the 20th minute of play. Eustaquio Bela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Carro Quemao's zone, Dante Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Bela came out of the goal and Dante Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Deportivo Carro Quemao getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adolfo Jaume hit a great ball. Eustaquio Bela came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ombucta AFC's Enzo Dabi. But to his dismay, Enzo Dabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Enzo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eustaquio Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Dabi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Adolfo Jaume managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Carro Quemao's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Jaume was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After some careless play in the Ombucta AFC defense, Zeledon Amor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Quexal. The Ombucta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Quexal should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Amor might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaudencio Quexal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Amor ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Enzo Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Bela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Dabi took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Bela. Eustaquio Bela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Dabi in the 78th minute of play forced Deportivo Carro Quemao's goalkeeper Eustaquio Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Bernardo Estefan had to leave the field with a concussion. When Adolfo Jaume fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Carro Quemao's protests and gave Adolfo Jaume a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ombucta AFC booed when Deportivo Carro Quemao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Jaume didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Dante Abastas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eustaquio Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Quexal having to interfere. Zeledon Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adolfo Jaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ombucta AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo Carro Quemao's much stronger midfield.
