Spectators: 7154 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Angelo Dantel made the kick off which started today's match. Antonio Gilen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 7th playminute. With a little luck, El Gallito de Moron's Americo Gabirel got control of the ball when Gualterio Birila tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, El Gallito de Moron's goalkeeper Americo Gabirel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Gilen. After a rather tough play, El Gallito de Moron's Horacio Lorencio got a free kick in the 14th minute. Angelo Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Americo Gabirel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Antonio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. El Gallito de Moron's Americo Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Dantel in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Tandil AFC's Hector Quico seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hector Quico the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tandil AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hector Quico had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tandil AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute of the match El Gallito de Moron got a corner. Tandil AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusebio Ikatz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antonio Gilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Americo Gabirel made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in El Gallito de Moron's zone, Angelo Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Gabirel came out of the goal and Angelo Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Gabirel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Angelo Dantel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Gabirel was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of El Gallito de Moron booed when Tandil AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Montel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Birila during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gualterio Birila hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tandil AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gualterio Birila hit a great ball. El Gallito de Moron's Americo Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Dantel in the 68th minute of play. Tandil AFC's Antonio Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antonio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Tandil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Indalecio. After a rather tough play, El Gallito de Moron's Hipolito Birila got a free kick in the 79th minute. Americo Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Antonio Gilen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tandil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Gilen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
