But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Jaume couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Amor made a kick off. Deportivo Carro Quemao's Alberto Patrone couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. A very good chance. If Astor Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Deportivo Carro Quemao's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Vela came free, but Eustaquio Bela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Saturnin having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Carro Quemao booed when Squadra Piu Pro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Enrique Rioja notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Deportivo Carro Quemao's Eustaquio Bela. Eustaquio Bela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Jaume's late challenge caught a Squadra Piu Pro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
