Gaudencio Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Antonio Gilen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gaudencio Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Gilen in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Quexal saved Ombucta AFC from getting behind. Angelo Dantel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Quexal having to interfere. Gaudencio Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Gilen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Antonio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Ombucta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Gilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ombucta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Antonio Gilen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaudencio Quexal came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Gilen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. The Ombucta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Quexal should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ombucta AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Severo Ruisko hit a great ball. Ombucta AFC's Gaudencio Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Indalecio in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Ombucta AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Dantel came free, but Gaudencio Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Montel's late challenge caught a Ombucta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Montel helped the player get up and apologised. Eusebio Montel kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Angelo Dantel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tandil AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 91 minutes into the match, Angelo Dantel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaudencio Quexal, 0-7. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ombucta AFC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Quexal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Antonio Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Guib hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Tandil AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
