Ombucta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galaxy Fc the free kick. Gaudencio Quexal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Balendin in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Enzo Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Remicio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eustacio Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Galaxy Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Frichoso couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gaudencio Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eustacio Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, Ombucta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Remicio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Isaac Hodei fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galaxy Fc's protests and gave Isaac Hodei a yellow card for diving instead. Eustacio Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. The supporters of Galaxy Fc booed when Ombucta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Maximo Balendin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Maximo Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. Gaudencio Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Frichoso in the 57th minute of play. Galaxy Fc's Maximo Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Eustacio Frichoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ombucta AFC's Gaudencio Quexal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Abastas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Remicio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ombucta AFC's zone, Maximo Balendin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Quexal came out of the goal and Maximo Balendin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Eustacio Frichoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galaxy Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Frichoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Natalio Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaudencio Quexal came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galaxy Fc's Eustacio Frichoso. But to his dismay, Eustacio Frichoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 86 minutes into the match, Maximo Balendin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaudencio Quexal. Ombucta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Balendin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Enzo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Remicio made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Dante Abastas sent off a good shot on target. Galaxy Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
