Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Honorato Giro kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Dante Abastas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evelio Bidari was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Evelio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Evelio Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Sandaili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ombucta AFC's zone, Honorato Giro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Quexal came out of the goal and Honorato Giro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmar Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Quexal having to interfere. Honorato Giro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gaudencio Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Delmar Blasco came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Lanus MdP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Blasco couldn't finish the play. Honorato Giro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Ombucta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Dabi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Honorato Giro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanus MdP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Giro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Blasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaudencio Quexal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Giro went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Lanus MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Dabi came free, but Evelio Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lanus MdP defense, Enzo Dabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Bidari. The Lanus MdP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Bidari should have stopped the shot. If Arturo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Dabi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Arturo Segio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanus MdP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Arturo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ombucta AFC's zone, Honorato Giro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Quexal came out of the goal and Honorato Giro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gustavo Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ombucta AFC's protests and gave Gustavo Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. Arturo Segio struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gaudencio Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanus MdP. If Arturo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Segio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ombucta AFC's Gaudencio Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Figueroa in the 88th minute of play. Enzo Dabi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. If Enzo Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
