Candido Galindo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Evelio Bidari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Lanus MdP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Blasco to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, ROSARIO CENTRAL's goalkeeper Adan Ayala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Giro. The wind increased when Honorato Giro made the kick off in the second half. Adan Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Segio in the 78th minute of play. If Arturo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Lanus MdP were the better team. Lanus MdP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
