Spectators: 7236 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melchor Ticho kicked off to start the match. Basail FC's Gonzalo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Orlanda in the 6th minute of play. Union Industrial's Ermegildo Reynardo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Abajas's late challenge caught a Union Industrial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Abajas helped the player get up and apologised. If Ermegildo Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Basail FC's Melchor Ticho in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Union Industrial's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute, Ermegildo Reynardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Naelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 26th minute Melchor Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Horacio Eder made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Muno. Union Industrial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Domingo Nel hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ermegildo Reynardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Basail FC's Gonzalo Naelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Ermegildo Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Orlanda struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gonzalo Naelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union Industrial. If Ermegildo Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Marciano Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Union Industrial getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Diego Gaitano hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Marciano Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Basail FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. Dante Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Gaitano in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Dante Orlanda got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ermegildo Reynardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Naelio having to interfere. Gonzalo Naelio was a little too slow when Ermegildo Reynardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 96th match minute, Union Industrial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Gaitano to maneuver through the defense. Union Industrial played a much better game than Basail FC and deserved their victory. The Basail FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
