Garabato's Ovidio Serafo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bernabe Pelagius fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garabato's protests and gave Bernabe Pelagius a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Garabato's Bernabe Pelagius got a free kick in the 9th minute. A hard shot 13 in the game by Ovidio Serafo from a close distance when the talented Gunnar Pedersson managed to make a qualified save. Simor's players were relieved. After 14 minutes, Jeremias Dimas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garabato and the Simor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leandro Seme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Librado made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gaston Nuxila. Ramiro Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ovidio Serafo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Pedersson having to make a save. In the 24th minute, Simon Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Ortle's late challenge caught a Garabato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Ortle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garabato booed when Simor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Ortle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Simor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adan Tximitx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Garabato's Ramiro Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Munio in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 played minutes Simor got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Librado. A collision led to Simor getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leonardo Luar hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Sergio Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Ovidio Serafo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Gaston Nuxila made the kick off in the second half. If Ovidio Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Luar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Montel. Garabato's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremias Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisito Librado during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th minute, Luisito Librado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ovidio Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Gunnar Pedersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adan Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Simor defense, Adan Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Pedersson. The Simor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Pedersson should have stopped the shot. Ovidio Serafo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gunnar Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Pedersson having to interfere.
