After 14 played minutes Dolores FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Ranolfo. Fermin Marko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Montes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Tomas Confesor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Fermin Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes, Evelio Laurin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Xema Team's Froilan Canor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Evelio Laurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Canor was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Fermin Marko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Confesor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Laurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Dolores FC defense, Fermin Marko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Confesor. The Dolores FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Confesor should have stopped the shot. Evelio Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Canor having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Pastor Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Dolores FC's zone, Aaron Rencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Confesor came out of the goal and Aaron Rencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Montes in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Confesor saved Dolores FC from getting behind. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
