San Martín de Wilde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cayetano Abalos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Edgard Aguirre made a huge save. Ladislao Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tomas Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Primitivo Bautista fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolores FC's protests and gave Primitivo Bautista a yellow card for diving instead. Clemente George has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 49th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. After 52 played minutes San Martín de Wilde got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Montrelle. Tomas Confesor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Hats in the 58th minute. Ladislao Hats did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Tomas Confesor 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot 67 in the game by Ladislao Hats from a close distance when the talented Tomas Confesor managed to make a qualified save. Dolores FC's players were relieved. In the 77th minute, Dolores FC's Romulo Taurino seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Romulo Taurino the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dolores FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Romulo Taurino had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 76 minutes into the game, one of Dolores FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for San Martín de Wilde. Everardo Artal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomas Confesor. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Dolores FC's zone, Ladislao Hats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Confesor came out of the goal and Ladislao Hats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Armando Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martín de Wilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Abarca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Hats's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Tomas Confesor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. San Martín de Wilde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
