Dante Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Confesor having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Dolores FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente George. In the 19th match minute, Dolores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. Nemesio Gonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Confesor having to make a save. If Nemesio Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cayetano Abalos fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolores FC's protests and gave Cayetano Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Dolores FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Abalos. After having played for 26 minutes, Robustiano Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union Industrial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Luzaide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nemesio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Union Industrial's Nemesio Gonzo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Nemesio Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Confesor having to interfere. Tomas Confesor made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Nemesio Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Orlanda to strike the kick off in the second half. When Union Industrial's Nemesio Gonzo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dolores FC's goalie prevented a goal. Union Industrial's Gonzalo Muno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Laurin in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Evelio Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Muno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Confesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Orlanda in the 74th minute of the match. Nemesio Gonzo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Tomas Confesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union Industrial. Tomas Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Orlanda in the 76th minute of play. Tomas Confesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Muno made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Cayetano Abalos sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd match minute, Union Industrial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Dolores FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Union Industrial:s goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dolores FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Union Industrial.
