After 55 played minutes savoi got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Ciano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Caton in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Iliana saved River Plate from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, River Plate's goalkeeper Erasmo Iliana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Natal. Pablo Ciano's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
