The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Ikatz got free with Ermegildo Norino in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Procopio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Gregorio Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Deportivo San Rafael got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Erramun. Adélio Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejo Procopio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Adélio Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Procopio went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Erramun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermegildo Norino. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Alejo Procopio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adélio Neves. Deportivo San Rafael's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejo Procopio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ubaldo Aureo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 38th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. David Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, David Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo San Rafael's supporters rose to their feet, but David Policarpio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Norino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 minutes David Policarpio dribbled himself free with the goalkeeper and shot a hard ball that touched the crossbar and went into the goal, 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Bonifacio Mingo made the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Rafael's Ubaldo Aureo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Norino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulino Erramun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Norino having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, David Policarpio put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ermegildo Norino. When Paulino Erramun fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo San Rafael's protests and gave Paulino Erramun a yellow card for diving instead. Paulino Erramun kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Alejo Procopio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Adélio Neves made a huge save. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo San Rafael's goalkeeper Adélio Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 71 played minutes peladogourmet's Alejo Procopio stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Adélio Neves stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Deportivo San Rafael of the goal. Ermegildo Norino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorato Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Deportivo San Rafael's Jonas Blai got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo San Rafael had played much better football throughout.
