Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 90) Maurinho Team's Angel Amor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in NOB's zone, Jonatan Justin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Quintun came out of the goal and Jonatan Justin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Fiz made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gaspar Ekain sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Eate took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernando Quintun. NOB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 17 played minutes NOB got a freekick which was hit by Justo Demario. Diego Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurinho Team's Jonatan Justin got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Maurinho Team's Angel Amor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Quintun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonatan Justin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Quintun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. NOB's Fernando Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Justin in the 44th minute of play. Gaspar Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Amor was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maurinho Team's Jonatan Justin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd minute, Jonatan Justin fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Fernando Quintun. Joaquin Gipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquin Gipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquin Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Angel Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NOB's Fernando Quintun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Amor in the 63rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when Virgilio Pierres put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in NOB fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Fernando Quintun had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Gervasio Eate's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonatan Justin might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Quintun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Justin ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Maurinho Team getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Silvestre Adrio hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Gaspar Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NOB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Maurinho Team booed when NOB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gaspar Ekain came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the NOB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Ekain couldn't finish the play. Federico Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Diego Fiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Victoro's late challenge caught a NOB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celedonio Victoro helped the player get up and apologised. Gaspar Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maurinho Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
