Deportivo San Rafael's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Erlantz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, INFIERNO's goalkeeper Jimeno Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Policarpio. In the 14th match minute, Deportivo San Rafael was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Gartzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adélio Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Isidoro Gartzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adélio Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilano Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adélio Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Gartzea in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo San Rafael getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Marciano Mero hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Rafael's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Gartzea came free, but Adélio Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Lopes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Blai in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, David Policarpio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Deportivo San Rafael was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Blai to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Gartzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo San Rafael's goalkeeper Adélio Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When David Policarpio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Deportivo San Rafael fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Policarpio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Deportivo San Rafael getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jonas Blai hit a great ball. Jonas Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, David Policarpio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo San Rafael's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Policarpio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Rafael's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Erlantz came free, but Adélio Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Policarpio struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jimeno Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo San Rafael. David Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Lopes having to interfere. If Isidoro Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adélio Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Erlantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Deportivo San Rafael getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jonas Blai hit a great ball. Isidoro Gartzea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Adélio Neves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adélio Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Gartzea in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Atilano Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adélio Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deportivo San Rafael booed when INFIERNO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, David Policarpio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
