When Alfonso Elizardo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the CA Villa Cipolletti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Elizardo couldn't finish the play. In the 5th minute, Fidel Eate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes, Jimeno Jaume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Villa Cipolletti and the Maurinho Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Lorenzo Eli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Fiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Diego Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Humberto Montxo might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Fiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Montxo ran back to his position shaking his head. Diego Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Jonas Txaran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Diego Fiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurinho Team's Diego Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Elizardo in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of CA Villa Cipolletti booed when Maurinho Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Justin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, CA Villa Cipolletti's Humberto Montxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Fiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 33 minutes, Humberto Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Villa Cipolletti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfonso Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alfonso Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Villa Cipolletti's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Cortez during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emilio Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Maurinho Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Eli came free, but Diego Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lorenzo Eli in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Fiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Maurinho Team getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jonatan Justin hit a great ball. Diego Fiz stood somewhat misplaced when Alfonso Elizardo came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 67 minute. Diego Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jonas Txaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Fiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Txaran ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonas Txaran struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Diego Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Villa Cipolletti. 78 minutes into the match, Maurinho Team's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Eli came free, but Diego Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Eyague didn't quite understand what happened when in the 85 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Patricio Eyague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Fiz having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, CA Villa Cipolletti's Patricio Eyague sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Fiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lorenzo Eli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over CA Villa Cipolletti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maurinho Team throughout the match.
