Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leandro Osoitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Diego Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Maximo Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Jayvier in the 8th minute of play. Los Tigres were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Sportivo Apolo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo Jacob took the corner. Leonardo Jacob made a great header on Los Tigres's corner, it was just that Sportivo Apolo's Eleuterio Etxeberri managed to reach the ball for a save. Eleuterio Etxeberri stood somewhat misplaced when Leandro Osoitz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. 15 minutes into the match, Los Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Chago came free, but Maximo Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Igor Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Diego Chago came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Sportivo Apolo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Chago couldn't finish the play. After 21 minutes of play, Sportivo Apolo's Diego Chago made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Nastasio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Chago might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Nastasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Chago ran back to his position shaking his head. Sportivo Apolo's Froilan Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zacarias Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd match minute, Sportivo Apolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Jaume to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Ralondo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Nastasio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Diego Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Ralondo to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Los Tigres's goalkeeper Maximo Nastasio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Chago. Sportivo Apolo's Nicasio Jayvier got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Los Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Igor Quilino. The supporters of Sportivo Apolo booed when Los Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Frantzes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guaberto Gai hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Gonzalo Medina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Nastasio skillfully saved the ball. Diego Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Nastasio having to interfere. Sportivo Apolo's Eleuterio Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Osoitz in the 74th minute of play. Maximo Nastasio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Isidro Santxol. After having played for 80 minutes, Diego Chago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Apolo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Chago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Los Tigres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Gai to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Nicasio Jayvier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maximo Nastasio. Nicasio Jayvier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Maximo Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Ralondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the match, Los Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Ralondo came free, but Maximo Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Apolo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
