Spectators: 7246 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leandro Osoitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ninjas in Pyjamas's zone, Zacarias Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Laurentzi came out of the goal and Zacarias Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Maura kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Santos Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Los Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Maura came free, but Maximo Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Ibañez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Leandro Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Laurentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Los Tigres's Maximo Nastasio got control of the ball when Marciano Ibañez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tadeo Laurentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Osoitz in the 29th minute of play. Zacarias Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Laurentzi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Maura in the 36th minute of play forced Los Tigres's goalkeeper Maximo Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Maura in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Elias Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leandro Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Tigres's Leandro Osoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Nastasio was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Santos Maura capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santos Maura really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Maura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Elias Crescencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ninjas in Pyjamas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Tigres the free kick. The audience was convinced that Leandro Osoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeo Laurentzi was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Tadeo Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Los Tigres's Maximo Nastasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Maura in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Los Tigres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Luciano Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Marciano Ibañez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Ibañez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Luciano Frantzes had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 70 minutes into the game, Placido Galindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Tigres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninjas in Pyjamas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Tigres's Placido Galindo got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Santos Maura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Nastasio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marciano Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Laurentzi made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Zacarias Frans sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Frans might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Laurentzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Frans ran back to his position shaking his head. After 81 minutes, Guaberto Gai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Tigres and the Ninjas in Pyjamas players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Zacarias Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marciano Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tadeo Laurentzi came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Tigres's Guaberto Gai. But to his dismay, Guaberto Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Tigres players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ninjas in Pyjamas.
