Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teofilo Inge made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Tigres's goalkeeper Maximo Nastasio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teofilo Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Teofilo Inge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximo Nastasio. The goal made the score 1-0. If Zacarias Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Teofilo Inge fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Silvano Monte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Inge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Nastasio having to make a save. Ulises Bernabel took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Nastasio. Maximo Nastasio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Teofilo Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Osoitz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Placido Vela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salado AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Tigres the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, Salado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Vela to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Leonardo Jacob shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Monte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Salado AFC defense, Zacarias Frans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Monte. The Salado AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Monte should have stopped the shot. Silvano Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ulises Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Nastasio having to interfere. Maximo Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Bernabel in the 74th minute of play. When Simon Roano fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salado AFC's protests and gave Simon Roano a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Salado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Roano. Augusto Ondino's late challenge caught a Los Tigres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Ondino helped the player get up and apologised. Leonardo Jacob took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvano Monte. Salado AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zacarias Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Bernabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Leandro Osoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Osoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Salado AFC's goalkeeper Silvano Monte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Frans. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Salado AFC had won after a very even match.
