Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) 4 minutes into the match, Los Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Leobardo came free, but Maximo Nastasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Dale Masa's goalkeeper Enrique Guillerme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Frans. Los Tigres's Leandro Osoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Nastasio having to interfere. Zacarias Frans struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Enrique Guillerme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Tigres. The audience was convinced that Leandro Osoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Guillerme was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Teo Meder charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Meder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Tigres booed when Dale Masa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Meder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Los Tigres defense, Aquilino Elodio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Nastasio. The Los Tigres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Nastasio should have stopped the shot. Zacarias Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Enrique Guillerme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Guaberto Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Tigres's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Gai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Guillerme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquilino Elodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Leobardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Maximo Nastasio made a huge save. Zacarias Frans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Osoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Guillerme having to interfere. Enrique Guillerme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Frans in the 68th minute of play. Maximo Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Elodio in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Dale Masa got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Sidoro. In the 96th minute of the match Leonardo Jacob sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Guillerme skillfully saved the ball. The Los Tigres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dale Masa's performance. The match ended with a win for Dale Masa.
