Gaspar Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jacobo Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godfredo Chap came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the C.A. Lamarque fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Chap couldn't finish the play. il Rossonero's Severiano Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Chap in the 15th minute of play. Godfredo Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Severiano Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, il Rossonero's Eustacio Remigio got a free kick in the 19th minute. Haroldo Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severiano Criston. il Rossonero's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A. Lamarque defense, Erasmo Cordeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Silbestre. The C.A. Lamarque fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Silbestre should have stopped the shot. Godfredo Chap recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, il Rossonero's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Aurre came free, but Severiano Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Cordeiro in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Silbestre saved C.A. Lamarque from getting behind. After having played for 36 minutes, Godfredo Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Lamarque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erasmo Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Silbestre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a little luck, il Rossonero's Severiano Criston got control of the ball when Jacobo Aurre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severiano Criston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Chap in the 60th minute of play. C.A. Lamarque's Bernardo Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Cordeiro in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Aurre in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Criston saved il Rossonero from getting behind. Jacobo Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 84 minutes into the match, il Rossonero's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Chap came free, but Severiano Criston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, C.A. Lamarque's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Tonete came free, but Bernardo Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Mitxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Severiano Criston made a huge save. C.A. Lamarque's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
