Tiburcio Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Tiniebra hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Loniocura's Julio Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Tiniebra in the 13th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Martin Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermegildo Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Tiniebra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Portezuelo booed when Loniocura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ermegildo Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Maties having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Tiburcio Lluciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Maties was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cesar Boniel struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Julio Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portezuelo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Librado was the one to do the kick off. Julio Maties showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Lluciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Julio Maties made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Tiniebra in the 56th minute. Tiburcio Lluciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Maties having to interfere. Leonardo Asur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Maties having to make a save. Ermegildo Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Silvio Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Melquiades Hermon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Julio Maties managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Portezuelo's Ermegildo Tiniebra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Melquiades Hermon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Lluciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Maties having to interfere. If Tiburcio Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portezuelo played a much better game than Loniocura and deserved their victory. The Loniocura players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
